Day One

I decided after many weeks of blog-stalking to create my own blog. My friend, Mrs. Grey House, was my biggest inspiration. Check out her blog: Grey House Red Dog. I am currently having "Girls Night" with Mollie (the baby of the house) while John (husband, father, sports to a -lover extraordinaire) has gone to a bachelor party. Kitties Sophie and Dutch are nervously napping in our bedroom, waiting for Mollie to come and "play" with them. We also have the K-State vs. Bradley game on in the background. Anyone who knows me (well, more specifically, my husband) would guess that I'm not pulling for K-State. It's been a tough week after the KU loss to Northern Iowa last week... John hasn't watched any basketball since the loss. He wouldn't even walk in the room to see the score before he left. I've oddly been looking forward to tonight. I rented New Moon and The Time Traveler's Wife... to watch after bedtime, of course. Sometimes the weeks are so busy that staying home and doing nothing sounds great!
